- Charlotte Viney wasn’t impressed with one Instagram post
- AFL star husband on a kart was ‘an ick’ in her eyes
Footy star Jack Viney’s wife Charlotte has publicly called out her husband after the Melbourne Demons posted vision on social media of her husband Jack pedalling a kart like a child during pre-season training.
Charlotte Viney – a former model – responded to the Instagram post by cheekily declaring ‘THIS is an ick’, which garnered over 100 likes.
Her footy star husband saw the funny side of the situation, posting, ‘Too bad, you’re stuck with me.’
Next it was over to the Demons’ social media team to increase the level of banter.
They posted an image of Viney showcasing his impressive physique ahead of the 2026 AFL season.
Naturally, Viney’s wife approved of the image, with the fan favourite showing off a physique that would be the envy of just about every man in Australia.

She playfully followed up with: ‘THIS is not an ick’, accompanied by a laughing emoji.
In April, the Vineys announced they were expecting their third child, another girl.
Viney, a premiership-winner in 2021 and key leader at the Demons, is now the lone male in a household of five.
The couple made the announcement on Instagram, paired with a cheeky caption that read, ‘Chaos level in the Viney household: Upgraded. Adding a THIRD gorgeous girl to our gang.
‘We have two very excited girls ready to take on big sister duties #4against1.’
In 2019, the couple were married at the lavish Mitchelton Winery in Victoria.
Charlotte described the big day as ‘absolutely picturesque’ and confirmed the ceremony was ‘everything they had hoped for it to be and more’.
A one-club player following his senior debut in 2013, Viney will look to play finals footy next year after a tough 2025 that saw coach Simon Goodwin sacked.
Steven King is now at the helm at the Dees after he beat Collingwood great Nathan Buckley for the role.
‘Melbourne has a rich history, and I feel very humbled to be given this opportunity at one of the oldest professional sporting clubs in the world,’ King said in a statement.
‘I’m excited to bring my experience to the club and see what we can achieve, together, from next season and beyond.’
