- NRLW star showed she is one tough footy player
Footy star Jasmin Strange takes no prisoners in the NRLW – and it seems she is equally savage off the field.
The Sydney Roosters backrower, 23, uploaded a clip to Instagram on Monday which displayed her textbook tackling technique, and a male friend discovered first-hand just how ferocious Strange can be.
She titled the clip: ‘Can people stop asking me to tackle them when I’m drunk bc (because) I will say yes.’
The man was pummelled to the ground and looked visibly shocked before declaring the obvious: ‘I just got dropped’ as friends laughed nearby.
Last September, Strange revealed the weird fetish requests she often gets from footy fans on social media – and admitted she ‘could make some good money’ if she wanted to.
Strange told Triple M’s Rush Hour that supporters often ask for her unwashed socks after she has worn them in matches.

Strange previously told Triple M’s Rush Hour supporters often reach out on Instagram and ask for her footy socks – after she has worn them in games
‘I get that many messages from people asking to buy my filthy, game-worn socks,’ she told footy legend Nathan Hindmarsh and co-host Anthony Maroon.
‘So I reckon there’s a few feet freaks out there… I could make some good money for sure.’
Hindmarsh went onto light-heartedly encourage Strange to pass on her footy socks to eager supporters for a fee, stating it is ‘easy money.’
Strange later offered to sell Hindmarsh’s socks while presenting them as her own, believing they will smell if worn by the Parramatta Eels great.
Raised on the NSW Central Coast, Strange is coached by her dad John at the Chooks and her younger brother is boom Canberra Raiders five-eighth, Ethan.
The athletic second-rower has also previously discussed palming away accusations of nepotism.
‘In the end I realised it doesn’t actually matter,’ Strange said.
‘For lack of a better term, I (quickly) discovered how just stupid some people are.
‘When I was at Newcastle, I was getting many DMs saying, ‘you only get picked because your dad’s the coach’ – well, he is coaching the Roosters and I’m at the Knights.
‘There are a lot of people that probably don’t have a clue about the game…they just see you as a scapegoat.’
