Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has reportedly struck up a romance with sports presenter Katharina Kleinfeldt.
The pair are yet to be spotted in public together but they have been meeting for several months, reports out of Germany have claimed.
Kehl is in the process of finalising his divorce from his wife of 26 years, Tina Kruger, who he split from in the summer of 2023. The two continue to maintain a friendly relationship, according to the Bild.
On Thursday, a report in the German outlet Bunte revealed that the former footballer is said to be ‘newly in love’ with the 31-year-old Kleinfeldt.
Kleinfeldt works for German TV channel Sport1 and is, among other things, a member of the football talk show Doppelpass. She was part of the team that covered Luke Littler’s historic win at the World Darts Championship in London this year.
Kehl and Kleinfeldt’s union would not be the first time the worlds of football and the media that covers it have collided in recent years.

Earlier this month, Still paid an emotional tribute to Saunders after he was forced to leave her in hospital to fulfil his duties as manager of Ligue 1 outfit Lens as they prepared for a tough trip to second-place Marseille.
