A resurfaced clip of reality TV star Kristin Cavallari outrageously flirting with Travis Kelce – while he was secretly dating Taylor Swift – has gone viral on social media.
Kelce was a guest on Cavallari’s ‘Let’s Be Honest’ podcast in September 2023, just days before pop superstar Swift made her first public appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game, catapulting the pair into the spotlight.
Three years later, the pair are both back in the news this week – Kelce because of his wedding of the century with Swift at Madison Square Garden, and Cavallari in the wake of comments she made claiming she didn’t receive a penny from ex-NFL star Jay Cutler in their bitter divorce.
On Friday, thousands viewed an old podcast clip in which Cavallari tells Kelce she ‘loved him’, admitting he was her ‘TV crush’. The post described Cavallari as ‘sorta throwing herself’ at Swift’s secret boyfriend.
In the episode, Cavallari explains to Kelce: ‘I first learned who you were in 2016 when your show Catching Kelce was on E! You were 100% my TV crush when this show was on. I was in love with you. How long does it take for you to know if you’re gonna like someone or not? Because I feel like I know immediately.’
Kelce, who didn’t mention Swift but may well have been thinking about her, then answered: ‘To really dive into a relationship with somebody, I feel like it’s gonna take at least… I don’t know, it’s gonna take some time. You really got to know somebody to take that step and really like be committed and be in full throttle.

The episode, which has now gone viral again, saw Cavallari tell Kelce she was ‘in love’ with him
The podcast appearance occurred just days before Swift and Kelce went public in 2023
‘I can’t just like meet somebody and just automatically think that, you know. I mean, forever is just a day away. You know, it’s just I think that’s just it’s too much, and I’m setting myself up for failure.’
It’s fair to say there’s no failure in sight now, with Kelce and Swift enjoying the first few days of marital bliss after their 1,000-guest mega-wedding in Midtown Manhattan.
As the 2023 podcast clip continues, Cavallari asks: ‘But what about that chemistry? Do you think that that spark, that initial spark, that’s either there or not? You do think that can grow?’
Kelce responds: ‘Yeah, the initial spark is always fun. You know, that’s the peak of the rollercoaster for the majority of it. But at the same time, you know, as you get to know somebody or you get to see their tendencies and what they do on daily basis, I think all of that can grow 100%.’
Cavallari catapulted herself back into the spotlight this week when she doubled down on her claims that she walked away from her divorce from former NFL quarterback Cutler without a dime.
The 39-year-old recently opened up about the bitter split, claiming she was actually forced to pay out her ex-husband when their marriage legally ended in 2022.

Speaking on Tuesday’s episode of the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast, Cavallari gave a candid account about the reality of her personal finances.
‘I don’t get any money from my ex-husband,’ Cavallari stated, doubling down on comments that she had previously made last summer.
‘I had to give him half the value of [her business] Uncommon James in cash and properties and everything else. Isn’t that interesting’.
Cavallari emphasized that she completely self-funded the jewelry and lifestyle brand, noting that its eventual success ‘gave me the confidence to leave my marriage’.
Despite the massive financial hit of the settlement, the former Laguna Beach star insisted that she has no regrets about how the chips fell.
‘I was really p***ed at the time and now I’m so thankful because I think, for me, I’ve needed these things in my life to keep going’, she explained.

‘And I’ve found that that is an instance where I’m going to fight harder… those little moments push me and I come out the other side stronger’.
The former Chicago Bears quarterback has fiercely disputed Cavallari’s version of events in the past.
Addressing her previous claims last August on his Take it Outside podcast, Cutler dismissed the narrative as ‘completely false’.
‘Let’s think about this logically. “Not a penny”. You can go and see how much I made in the NFL. It’s online… So, you go to divorce and each side gets a lawyer, and then you go to court and there’s a judge,’ he explained.
‘In the state of Tennessee, if we would have went to the judge and been like: “Hey, he’s going to keep every single dollar over the past seven years and you’re going to get nothing”. There’s not a judge in the state of Tennessee that would’ve signed that.
‘They would be like: “No, this isn’t right. This isn’t legal.” So, there’s that.’
Cutler was previously trouble with the law in Tennessee after he was arrested back in 2024
Cavallari and Cutler became engaged in 2011 and were married for nearly seven years before announcing their highly publicized split in April 2020.
Cutler was previously in trouble with the law in Tennessee after he was arrested and served a sentence for DUI, two years ago.
The arrest, which happened in October 2024, led to a four-day prison sentence as part of a plea deal the former Chicago Bears quarterback made with prosecutors in Tennessee.
Cutler was arrested in the suburb of Franklin, outside of Nashville – the city where he went to college and where he got married to Cavallari.
