Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever have announced they are building a new $78million, state-of-the-art training center – and many fans had the same response to the news.
The three-story, 108,000-square-foot complex is expected to open before the 2027 season, according to a team press release, and will feature two full courts, spa treatments and even a ‘podcast and content production studio.’
And after Clark helped the Fever set an all-time attendance record in her rookie season, fans credited her as the Fever’s new performance center was announced.
‘The Caitlin Clark Center. Or C3,’ one wrote on X.
‘The house that CC built,’ another fan said.
‘Thank you Caitlin Clark !!!!!,’ a third fan added.

Many fans credited Caitlin Clark after the WNBA team announced the news on Thursday
The space will feature two full basketball courts, spa treatment and even a podcast studio
And a fourth fan even claimed, ‘Caitlin should own stake in the WNBA.’
Without naming Clark specifically, Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett also acknowledged that the 2024 season had been historic for the Fever.
‘Last year, we experienced an unprecedented boom in interest and attention on women’s sports around the world, led in large part by our very own Indiana Fever,’ Hogsett said.
‘Indianapolis is proud to see this significant investment from Pacers Sports & Entertainment drive further momentum in women’s basketball in our community and continue to elevate our status as a major league sports city.’
Currently, the Fever’s practice facility is located within the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the arena which they share with the NBA’s Indiana Pacers.
The WNBA team’s new performance center will be connected by skybridge to the Fieldhouse, the team said.
Clark and her teammates will have plenty of amenities to enjoy at the new facility, including a yoga and Pilates area, full-service-kitchen, private outdoor courtyard and mental performance spaces.
The center is slated to open in downtown Indianapolis ahead of the 2027 WNBA season
There will also be infrared light therapy, sauna, steam rooms and several hydrotherapy pools, while the center will even have a hair and nail salon and childcare.
The Fever said the space will ‘address the specific needs of female athletes competing at the highest level, including performance and conditioning, recovery and rehabilitation, mental health and wellness, and lifestyle support.’
Clark and the Fever finished last season 20-20 to earn a playoff berth before being swept in the first round by the Connecticut Sun.
Indiana will begin their 2025 season on May 17 against the Chicago Sky.
