Lando Norris ‘not worried at all’ about stalling Formula One title challenge
When asked before Miami if he fears the championship momentum is moving in Piastri’s direction, Norris replied: “No, I am not worried at all.
“He (Piastri) is doing a good job and he deserves it.
“I don’t believe so much in momentum. Clearly I have made some mistakes, and not been at the level I need to be at. But I believe I can get there soon enough.”
His sprint victory – albeit helped by the safety car – should go some way to boost his confidence.

Oscar Piastri quickest in FP1
Not all the frontrunners got in a hot lap on the soft tyres, but Oscar Piastri did.
The championship leader was quickest in that session with a 1:27:128 – 0.356 seconds faster than Charles Leclerc in second!
Max Verstappen was third, four-tenths off, with Carlos Sainz in fourth and Alex Albon fifth!
6-10: Hadjar, Russell, Tsunoda, Antonelli, Alonso
Norris and Hamilton, in P12 and P13, did not set a fast-lap on the soft tyre…

Bearman hit with five second time penalty
The FIA demoted Oliver Bearman with a five second time penalty for an unsafe release post-sprint race.
Bearman’s Haas peeled into the pit lane in the path of Niko Hulkenberg’s Sauber during Saturday’s sprint race.
The rookie driver will lose his eighth-place finish and the one point that came with it.

Qualifying at 21:15 BST
So let’s turn our attention now to qualifying, which will get underway a little over an hour from now, at 16:15 local time, 21:15 BST.
Will Antonelli bounce back from that setback in the sprint race?
And which of the McLarens has the psychological advantage, after Piastri led for most of that race but was pipped by his teammate because of the safety car?

Bad day at the office for Max Verstappen
Today’s sprint was the first time Max Verstappen has finished a race in any format outside of the points since 2016.
He finished fourth on the road, but was demoted all the way down to 17th and last courtesy of a 10-second penalty for an unsafe release from the pit, when he clipped Kimi Antonelli.
