The Australian’s lead is 2.2 seconds already to Verstappen, who is 1.6 seconds clear of Norris.

Nightmare start for Norris, who has dropped to third and is over 1.5 seconds behind Verstappen.

Further back, Leclerc has taken fifth from George Russell but Isack Hadjar – so far – is keeping hold of fourth place.
