Ever Carradine is reflecting on “one of the hardest weeks” of her entire life following the tragic passing of her dad, Robert Carradine.

“After one of the hardest weeks of my life, I went to see my friend @joannavargasnyc,” the actress wrote on her Instagram Story Friday, before adding: “She does what she always does, took care of my heart and took a few years off my face.”

Robert died on Monday at age 71, with Page Six confirming that the beloved actor’s manner of death was ruled a suicide, per the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office.

The “Lizzie McGuire” star’s cause of death is sequelae of anoxic brain injury from hanging.

After news broke, Ever, whose mom is Susan Snyder, took to social media to pen a heartbreaking tribute to her father.

“My dad died today. My sweet, funny dad, who’s only 20 years older than I am, who never missed an opportunity to drive me to the airport or tell me how much he loved my homemade salad dressing, is gone,” the “Handmaid’s Tale” alum wrote via Instagram.

Ever expressed that those who knew Robert knew he was the guy “that’s always there.”

“Growing up in the 70s and 80 with a single dad in Laurel Canyon is not exactly the recipe for a grounded childhood, but somehow mine was. Whenever anyone asks me how I turned out so normal, I always tell them it’s because of my dad,” she continued about their bond. “I knew my dad loved me, I knew it deep in my bones.”

For Ever, her dad always had her back because their 20-year age difference made them “basically [grow] up together.”

“I have a thousand stories and I’m being flooded with memories — so if you see me, please ask me about my dad, Bobby Carradine, who made me who I am. Rest easy, dad. I love you the most,” concluded the star, 51.

Along with the touching caption, Ever included a carousel of throwback photos of her and Robert.

The couple divorced in 2018, a year after Edith accused Robert of attempting to kill them both in a terrifying 2015 car crash.

On Feb. 23, Robert’s brother Keith Carradine told Deadline that he was battling Bipolar Disorder before his death.

“In a world that can feel so dark, Bobby was always a beacon on light to everyone around him. We are bereft at the loss of this beautiful soul and want to acknowledge Bobby’s valiant struggle against his nearly two-decade battle with Bipolar Disorder,” Robert’s family said in a statement to the outlet.

Robert’s family, including daughter Ever, pictured above with her dad, said there was “no shame” in his illness. evercarradine/Instagram

“We hope his journey can shine a light and encourage addressing the stigma that attaches to mental illness. At this time we ask for the privacy to grieve this unfathomable loss. With gratitude for your understanding and compassion,” they noted.

Robert’s relatives wanted the public to know there is “no shame” in the illness he had.

Robert was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder after his brother David Carradine died by asphyxiation in June 2009.
