Pat McAfee reached a new comfort level with ESPN’s audience during Saturday’s episode of College Gameday from Miami.
After correctly predicting Miami’s win over visiting Florida, the daytime talk show host and ex-NFL punter provided the segment highlight by climbing the highest platform at the Hurricanes diving team’s pool, stripping down into a Speedo and plummeting 10 meters to the water below.
‘Not the drawers,’ his laughing co-hosts could be heard saying as McAfee tried to disrobe while speaking to the Hurricanes fans gathered around the College Gameday set and the nearby pool.
It was then that McAfee may have gotten a bit too comfortable with his audience by reaching into his Speedo and adjusting himself.
As the College Football Pulse put it on X: ‘Pat Mcafee literally just rubbed his ball sack on national TV.’

‘The Family Jewels needed a quick adjustment,’ one fan wrote.
‘After replay review,’ another joked, ‘he was just re spotting the ball.’
Some folks did get upset, including one who referenced ABC’s ongoing controversy over its decision to cancel Jimmy Kimmel’s show after his comments about murdered podcaster Charlie Kirk.
‘Hey FCC, jimmy Kimmel can’t express his political opinions, but this white trash can touch his private parts????’ one critic asked.
But the majority of respondents enjoyed McAfee’s bit despite his faux pas.
‘Only Pat McAfee can get away with adjusting his balls on live national tv,’ one fan remarked.
‘Pat McAfee is a MENACE,’ another joked. ‘Adjusting your balls live on national television is DIABOLICAL.’
As for the game, McAfee was right about the Hurricanes beating the Gators long before the final whistle on Saturday. Miami improved to 4-0 with the win while Florida now sits at 1-3 heading into their October 4 matchup with No. 8 Texas.
