ESPN’s Kimberley Martin made a shocking dig at Bill Belichick during Wednesday’s edition of ‘Get Up’ which left her fellow panelists baffled.
Belichick is on the cusp of becoming the head coach at North Carolina, his first job in college football after nearly 50 years in the NFL.
The legendary head coach has not been affiliated with a team since being fired by the New England Patriots in January.
In his time away from football, the 72-year-old Belichick has confirmed his relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson.
Recruiting is a major part of being a college head coach, with plenty of Belichick’s future conversations being with high school and college athletes should he head to Chapel Hill.
‘Belichick has proven he can recruit the youngins,’ Martin said.

The 48-year age gap between Hudson and Belichick has drawn plenty of online criticism. Most of the players Belichick would coach at North Carolina would be much younger than 24.
Belichick taking the helm of the Tar Heels would be a wild move to gridiron fans, as he was thought to be positioning himself for an NFL vacancy this offseason.
Belichick would be the oldest head coach in the FBS, replacing Mack Brown, who previously held that title and is one year senior of the former Patriots boss.
In going to North Carolina, Belichick would seemingly get the control of a football program he desires and is no longer sustainable in the NFL, as not only the top on-field official, but a de-facto general manager.
Martin has been with ESPN since March 2020 as an NFL reporter and has contributed for the network as an on-air personality since.
