He may not be mayor any more but he still gets the party perks of high office.
Playboy politico Eric Adams was flocked by women, including his blonde protégé Alisa Roever, at a Sports Illustrated party at Cipriani Wall St. on Saturday night. And we hear he even left with a few numbers.
In video footage of the evening obtained by Page Six, Adams appeared chummy with a few ladies vying for his attention on the ballroom floor.
“I don’t think he knew people could see him in action. His table was right by the stage,” said a spy. 50 Cent and Diplo performed at the bash, which celebrated the conclusion of the World Cup.
They added that they saw him exchange numbers with two brunettes, which is not unusual for the former party mayor. (Even Page Six has witnessed Adams swapping numbers with model-types at galas). His spokesperson, however, insists it’s all friendly.
“Eric Adams didn’t earn the nickname ‘the Nightlife Mayor’ by sitting home on Saturday nights,” they quipped.
They further said, “Eric arrived on his own, greeted people, met new faces, and like he’s done for more than 40 years, exchanged phone numbers. That’s called networking.”
Adams is in a long-term relationship with Department of Education staffer Tracey Collins.
We hear jet-setting Adams, who was bizarrely granted Albanian citizenship earlier this year, has some nonparty tricks up his sleeve that he will soon announce. In the meantime, his rep, for some reason, wanted to assure us, “there was absolutely nothing improper” about his evening at Cipriani.
“Eric Adams has always enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life, and Saturday night was no different,” he said.
