An entire row of shops was swept away during heavy flash flooding in India on Tuesday (21 July).
Footage shows the complex in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district slowly giving way as powerful floodwater eroded its foundations and submerged stores.
The structure quickly collapsed and disappeared into the murky water.
Authorities confirmed that the centre was evacuated before it collapsed and there were no injuries or fatalities reported.
It comes as the region battles a deadly spell of extreme weather that has claimed the lives of at least 25 people.
