Hayden Panettiere was spotted at LAX with convicted felon Brian Hickerson on Tuesday, eight months after the pair were involved in a wild bar brawl where he allegedly ‘spat on’ patrons.
The actress, 33, kept it low-key in a black hooded sweatshirt and a beige baseball cap as she forged the way through the terminal with Hickerson in tow.
As they waited for their flight, Panettiere and Hickerson grabbed a bite to eat at an airport restaurant near their boarding area.

Hickerson was also clad in all-black with a large, green backpack on his back.
When they were not dining, the actress was seen texting away on her cellphone as Hickerson loomed over her 5foot frame.
The pair appear to be heading out of Los Angeles for a Thanksgiving getaway though the destination is unknown.
It was reported in July that Panettiere and Hickerson – who is on probation until 2025 for domestically abusing the actress in 2018 – had finally called it quits on their troubled on/off romance.
Speaking to PEOPLE that same month, the Heroes actress referred to her relationship with Hickerson as a ‘very dark and complicated time in [her] life.’
She felt compelled to tell her story because she knows ‘a lot of women go through what I went through, and I want people to know it’s OK to ask for help.’
Back in March, Panettiere and Hickerson made headlines after they were filmed getting into a wild brawl with a group of revelers at a celebrity hotspot in Los Angeles after the convicted felon allegedly spat on one of the rival patrons.

Bar brawl: It comes eight months after Panettiere and Hickerson made headlines for getting into a wild brawl with a group of revelers at a celebrity hotspot in Los Angeles after the convicted felon allegedly spat on one of the rival patrons.
The petite actress, who is five feet tall, can be heard screaming ‘Brian’ as she tried to pull her boyfriend away from the group outside the Sunset Marquis hotel on the evening of March 25 as a woman in the other party screamed: ‘Back the f**k up,’ according to video obtained
Hickerson had spit at someone in the group and the manager of the trendy bar kicked everyone out, a witness told TMZ.
A representative for Panettiere told PEOPLE that Hickerson ‘made a comment to an individual about leaving the waitress a poor tip.’
‘That same individual, along with the group he was with, began badgering and shoving Brian, at which point security pushed everyone outside. Brian was attacked by the group, as was Hayden, who in her best effort tried to diffuse the situation,’ the representative said.

On/off: It was reported in July that Panettiere and Hickerson had finally called it quits on their troubled on/off romance
The video picks up on the West Hollywood street outside the hotel with security asking other patrons not involved in the fight to go back inside.
‘I need everyone back in the bar, please,’ an employee said as Hickerson, who was wearing a white T-shirt and shorts, was seen launching toward the group of roughly eight people on the ramp. It appears Hickerson and Panettiere are up against two women – who largely stay out of the fight – and six men. However, the fight is manly between Hickerson and one man.
Security grabbed Hickerson – and pulled him away from the group as Panettiere was seen pointing over an employees shoulder. Someone in the group screamed ‘It’s over, it’s over’ at the stars.
Another male also said: ‘Let’s f**king go, bro,’ while the girl who screamed earlier said: ‘I will f**king [unintelligible] your a**.’

The group eventually moved away from the front door to the street, where fists and feet started flying.
The Bring It On actress mostly stayed near the outer ring of the fight and warningly called her boyfriend’s name. At one point, a man in a brown jacket was still launching himself at Hickerson, causing Panettiere to reach out and grab his jacket to pull him off her boyfriend.
She fell to the ground in the action, alongside two to three other people and the man Panettiere grabbed was seen held in a headlock by Hickerson. Out of the corner of the frame, the actress can be seen being lifted to her feet by what appears to be a bar employee, but she didn’t stay out of the action long, trying to pry her boyfriend from the fight.
A woman in a black jacket began pounding Hickerson’s back, screaming hysterically: ‘Get off. Get the f**k off of him, you f**king a**hole.’
Panettiere was seen trying to push people away from her boyfriend on the ground, but only ended up back on the ground, protectively covering the two men. She held one arm to keep attackers away, while calmly saying: ‘Back up, back up, everybody.’
The hysterical girl, kneeling next to the star, began screaming at the top of her lungs: ‘Get off.’
‘Dark time’: Speaking to PEOPLE that same month, the Heroes actress referred to her relationship with Hickerson as a ‘very dark and complicated time in [her] life’; the pair seen in 2018
Panettiere appears to become more desperate to get her boyfriend out of the fight as she pleads with a bald man: ‘No, let me get him. Let me get him.’
The two men begin struggling again and the force of the fight breaks the tightly knit ball up, sending them toppling backward and Panettiere laid flat on her stomach. She can also be seen wrapping her arms around someone’s leg and it sends her rolling across the ground.
Hickerson can be seen being dragged by his foot while he was on all fours and violently kicking out at the men dragging him.
In a separate clip, Hickerson can be seen standing as people try to drag him away while he screams: ‘I’m ready for round two.’ His girlfriend beggingly calls for him to stop.
At one point, the Nashville actress could be heard screaming: ‘Brian, jail!’ Hickerson, a convicted felony, is on probation until 2025 for domestic violence charges for attacking the star in 2018.
After the group gets broken up, the man in jeans and a dark coat screams that Hickerson is ‘going to follow us.’ Someone appears to disagree with the man, as he continued: ‘He is, though. He already did.’
After the fight, Panettiere can be seen being escorted by bar staff back inside the hotel, where she apologized to the staff, while the other group left.
‘That dude,’ one of the employees started to say to the actress.
Dejectedly, Panettiere said: ‘I know, I’m sorry.’
As she walked away with a few others, who begin talking about Hickerson, she turned around and told them: ‘Don’t ever f**king talk about him.’
As they walked by the restaurant, the actress said: ‘I am so sorry.’
Police arrived after the fight broke up and no report was filed, according to TMZ. A representative for Panettiere said the star was ‘refused the opportunity to provide a statement to the police as she was escorted back inside.’
Her representative also told People that Panettiere is ‘okay’ after the fight.
Hickerson was sentenced to 45 days in jail and four years probation in 2021 after the actress accused him of domestic violence in 2018. He also had to attend 52 domestic violence classes, pay $500 in restitution, and was issued five-year protective order.
He was arrested on multiple felony charges, including corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant, two charges of assault with a deadly weapon, and one for intimidating Panettiere. He also faced a misdemeanor charge for battery on a spouse/cohabitant.
Most of his charges were dropped.
He allegedly assaulted Panettiere from December 2019 to January 2020 and the actress obtained a restraining order against him in May 2019, which forbade him from coming within 100 yards of her.
A month later he pleaded not guilty to a count of domestic violence in a case that was later dismissed. He arrested on Valentine’s Day 2020 in Wyoming and was charged with domestic battery after he allegedly punch the actress ‘with a closed fist on the right side of her face.’
She took to Instagram afterward, writing: ‘I am coming forward with the truth about what happened to me with the hope that my story will empower others in abusive relationships to get the help they need and deserve. I am prepared to do my part to make sure this man never hurts anyone again.’ The couple had been broken up at this time.
In July 2021, rumors began to swirl that the couple was rekindling their romance after they were spotted spending time together after he was released from jail.
Hickerson confirmed that they were ‘working on a friendship’ at the time. He said: ‘Hayden and I are not back together.’
The pair were first linked after Panettiere split with her then-fiancé Wladimir Klitschko, the former two-time heavyweight boxer champion, with whom she has a daughter Kaya, seven. Klitschko has custody of the girl after the Heroes actress had a heavy battle with post-partum depression and alcohol abuse.
Kaya and Klitschko, 46, moved to Ukraine afterward but she has been sent out of the country since Russia’s invasion. Panettiere posted on Instagram in support of the country and for her ‘friends and family’ living there when the war broke out, and confirmed in the comments that her daughter was ‘safe.’
Klitschko, however, did enter the war, alongside his 50-year-old brother Vitali, the mayor of Kyiv, who also was a heavyweight boxing champion.
The brothers took up arms to repel a Russian convoy approaching the capital earlier this month after declaring they were ‘ready to die’ to defend their homeland.
The younger brother has now urged for Russia to be isolated from all sporting competition, warning that Ukrainian women and children are ‘dying at the hands of the country’s aggression’.
He called for governing bodies to follow in the footsteps of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), after the authority recommended banning Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from international competitions.
