Foreign football fans enjoying stadium tours abroad is a common practice when travelling, but one English supporter managed to do so via very a peculiar method at one Italian club recently.

Atalanta are on a high right now after thrashing Parma 4-0 in Serie A on Sunday at their New Balance Arena.

However, the Champions League outfit will need to reassess the security measures at their ground after one fan managed to break in to it.

In a TikTok video uploaded on Sunday and that has gone viral, user Stanley_2110 shares footage of himself entering the 23,439-seater stadium unauthorised.

But how did he do it? By correctly guessing the code of a security gate surrounding the venue.

Founded on October 17, 1907 – the TikTok user typed in 1907 on the keypad and was promptly able to access where the team bus entrance is.

In the 39-second video, the man said: ‘We’re here at the Atalanta stadium, mountains in the back.

‘We’ve got the team bus entrance. What could the password for this gate possibly be?

‘What date was the team made? 1907.’

Laughing at the ability to enter, he adds: ‘Erm, yeah. Top notch security, that!’

After entering through the gates the video shows him taking in the view of the stadium inside as he pans his camera around.

Atalanta’s next two matches are away before they host Juventus in their Coppa Italia quarter-final showdown.

By then it would be safe to imagine that the codes will have been changed.
