A £4,000 funding opportunity is now open for social enterprises to pitch new or early-stage ideas

Social enterprises are invited to apply for a £4,000 Dragons’ Den–style funding opportunity designed to support new concepts and early-stage development. The initiative is delivered by Social Enterprise NI (SE NI) with support from Tenancy Deposit Scheme NI.

Applicants will pitch their idea for the chance to secure a £4,000 tax‑free award to help grow their organisation and increase their social impact.

Eligibility criteria

The opportunity is open to social enterprises at any stage of development.

To apply, you will need to provide

  • how the funding will support their organisation’s growth
  • the social impact they plan to deliver
  • their commitment to their mission

Venue Newry Leisure Centre, 60 Cecil Street, Newry BT35 6AU
Cost free

Register your place for the Dragons’ Den Partnering for Impact event in Newry.

How to apply

Applications are now open. Social enterprises can apply by submitting their idea and explaining the social impact they plan to deliver for a chance to take part in the Dragons’ Den showcase in Newry.

The application deadline is Wednesday 18 March 2026, at 3pm.
