A man has been charged with the murder of two men, including his own father, after an attack in Manchester.
Mouhamadou Fall, 23, had been detained under the Mental Health Act after the death of his father, Sidy Fall, 75, and Norman Scott, 68, on 17 November 2024.
The two victims were stabbed and died at the scene on Great Southern Street, Moss Side.
Fall, of Milverton Road in Manchester, will appear in court on a date to be fixed.
Greater Manchester Police said Mr Fall was on bail but was being held in a high security mental health facility.
Ch Sup David Meeney said at the time of the stabbing: “Our thoughts remain with the families and loved ones, filled with grief after receiving the most devastating news yesterday.
“The tragedy of two lives lost has been felt throughout the community and further afield, and we are working tirelessly to understand the circumstances surrounding this incident.”
