President Donald Trump was admittedly at a loss for words over Tiger Woods’ two-vehicle rollover crash in Florida.

‘I feel so badly,’ Trump told reporters after stepping off his limousine as he was traveling to Mar-a-Lago, just 22 miles from where Woods rolled over his car in Jupiter.

Trump was speaking before it was revealed that Woods had been arrested for DUI as a result of the crash, although the President did acknowledge some ‘difficulty’ facing the PGA star.

‘He’s got some difficulty,’ Trump continued. ‘There was an accident and that’s all I know. Very close friend of mine. He’s an amazing person, amazing man. But, some difficulty.’

Trump then abruptly ended that line of questioning: ‘I don’t want to talk about it.’

The golf legend is unhurt and was able to crawl out of the passenger side door after his Range Rover SUV flipped onto its side after clipping the rear end of a pressure-washing vehicle shortly after 2pm on Friday afternoon.

At a press conference, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office revealed that Woods showed signs of impairment at the scene and was arrested after refusing a urine test.

Woods was alone in his car, and neither he nor the driver of the other vehicle were injured. He will remain behind bars for at least eight hours, according to the police department.

Woods and Trump have known each other for years. In fact, Trump gave Woods the Presidential Medal of Freedom during his first term in office.

Furthermore, Woods is currently dating Vanessa Trump, the President’s former daughter-in-law.

The two were pictured sharing a romantic moment before the golf icon got his ‘a** kicked’ in his return to competition at The Golf League in Palm Beach on Tuesday night. It was his first competitive golf since 2024, but it did not go well for the oft-injured PGA great.

Jupiter Links was beaten badly by Los Angeles Golf Club at SoFi Center in Florida as Woods, Tom Kim and Max Homa lost 9-2 to Justin Rose, Sahith Theegala and Tommy Fleetwood.

At the time, Woods was considering playing in the Masters, but Trump seemingly put an end to that talk earlier in the week during an interview on Fox News.

‘I love Tiger, but he won’t be there,’ Trump said of the Masters. ‘He’ll be there, but he won’t be playing in it.’

Woods recently said he is ‘trying’ to play in the tournament and plans to attend the Champions Dinner.
