Anytime online learning course will help those in the advice sector develop skills, knowledge, and understanding on the topic of disability.

Advice NI has launched a new e-learning course covering Disability Law. This anytime online learning course is designed to help develop the essential skills, knowledge, and understanding to improve advice offered to clients.

For those in the advice sector, providing advice on the topic of disability is a core topic under the Northern Ireland Advice Quality Standard (NIAQS).

What will you learn?

The e-learning course provides an overview of

  • relevant legislation in Northern Ireland
  • right to health and social care
  • disability legislation
  • benefits and financial support that are available for persons with a disability and their carers
  • support organisations and useful links

The e-learning course is highly interactive, includes videos, activities, case studies, and knowledge checks. It can be completed at any time. If you leave and return to the course, you will be able to pick up where you left off.

Read more information and how to access Advice NI’s disability law e-learning course.
