Accrington Stanley have signed forward David Abimbola on loan from League One side Bolton Wanderers until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old goes out on loan having signed a new contract with Wanderers earlier this week which will keep him with the club until the end of next season.

He made four League One appearances for Bolton during the course of last term.

“I had an injury at the start of this season, but I am through that now, and am fully fit,” he said., external

“I want to push on and get a couple of goals, and it would be great to score in front of the fans. I want to make a big impression.”
