Dave Portnoy suffered an embarrassing wardrobe blunder while sitting ringside with his girlfriend at the Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua fight on Friday night.
The Barstool Sports founder made a rare public appearance with partner Camryn D’Aloia at Kaseya Center in Miami as Joshua knocked out YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in the sixth round of a bizarre contest streamed live on Netflix.
Before the main event got underway, a suited-and-booted Portnoy took to social media to reveal he had encountered a humiliating problem: he couldn’t stop his pants from falling down.
‘Listen, I’m ringside at this fight and my pants keep falling down,’ he said in a video on X. ‘Long story. The pants I wanted to wear were too long.’
Yet fortunately for Portnoy, who recently agreed a lucrative deal for three of Barstool’s biggest podcasts to move across to Netflix, a staffer for the streaming giants was on hand with a crucial intervention.
‘You wanna talk about this Netflix relationship? Someone from Netflix comes up with a belt and hands me a belt,’ he added while holding the belt up to the camera. ‘They’re like, “Hey, we see your pants are too big and keep falling down, here’s a belt.”

But the Barstool Sports founder couldn’t stop his pants from falling down while ringside
‘First day with Netflix, that’s class. By the way, my pants don’t have belt buckles so there’s nothing I can do, but day one and they’re watching me.’
Portnoy very rarely comments on his relationship with D’Aloia, who he was first pictured with at a Boston Celtics NBA game in April 2024.
They then sat courtside together at a playoff game two months later, and the media tycoon later told a hilarious story about the pair getting stranded in a boat off the coast of Nantucket in the same month.
It was while telling that story that he confirmed her name for the first time. When asked by his podcast co-host whether he was on the boat with his mother, Portnoy said: ‘No. Originally, it was myself and Cam, um, a girl I’m dating.
‘I was like, “You have to get off and tell somebody, I have no communication.” So she, before we got too far, dove off and went home and called the harbor master.’
A year later, Portnoy and D’Aloia were back courtside at TD Garden, sitting alongside Timothee Chalamet in photos that quickly went viral online.
Very little is known about D’Aloia, who is now believed to be 26. Portnoy, meanwhile, is 48.
D’Aloia also hails from Massachusetts and lives in Boston, but is very rarely in the spotlight
She graduated from Framingham State University in 2021 and went on to work at Nutrafol as a community management associate, but it is unclear whether she still works at the company.
Portnoy and his girlfriend had the two of the best seats in the house as former world heavyweight champion Joshua finally saw off Paul after six rounds of their controversial bout in Miami.
Many expected the online sensation to last no more than a few rounds with Joshua, who took a while to get going before producing the knockout blow – which reportedly broke Paul’s jaw.
The British fighter will now turn his attention to a potential clash with domestic nemesis Tyson Fury in 2026.
