Grants of up to £300 are available for events that celebrate Culture Night.

Applications will close at 5pm on Thursday 2 July 2026.

Who it is for

To be eligible for sponsorship, applicants must

  • be a constituted group or organisation
  • have a bank account with at least two signatories
  • hold public liability insurance
  • be located within the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area

Support you can get

Culture Night/Oíche Chultúir is a national moment, celebrating all that makes up the richness and diversity of our Cultures today, connecting people to cultural activities locally and nationally and aiming to open up pathways to ongoing engagement.

This annual, public event will take place on Friday 18 September 2026 celebrating culture, creativity and the arts and seeks to actively promote the belief that this rich and varied culture is alive, treasured and nurtured in people’s lives, today and every day.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is offering grants of up to £300 to events that celebrate and share the district’s rich and diverse Culture. 

To be considered for support, events must

  • relate to the Culture Night 2026 theme
  • enhance public understanding, enjoyment of, and engagement with your own or different cultures
  • be free of charge and open to the public
  • demonstrate clear public benefit
  • take place from 4pm on Friday 18 September 2026
  • commit to being included in Council-supported promotional activity
