A day after Cardi B made headlines for announcing she was pregnant and expecting a child with NFL star boyfriend Stefon Diggs, the New England Patriots star gave a bizarre response when asked about it.
Diggs was made available to the media on Thursday, with one reporter wanting to know about the ‘baby rumors’ involving him and the rapper, as he had yet to talk publicly about the massive news.
At first, the wide receiver wants the reporter to clarify which rumors he was referring to. After the reporter confirms he was asking Diggs about his unborn child, the 31-year-old gave his cryptic answer.
‘Oh my personal life, I told you about that. We don’t talk too much about my personal life,’ Diggs said. ‘I heard about it.’
Diggs playing naïve is not in regards to being hit with a paternity suit by an Instagram model, with the court battle being publicized on Thursday.
Aileen Lopera, known as Lord Gisselle on social media, filed a petition to determine if Diggs was her infant daughter’s father in Los Angeles last December.

Lopera was pregnant when she made the court filing, and listed Diggs as the ‘parent’ of her yet-to-be-born daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, who was born on April 2, per the US Sun.
In July, Diggs responded to the suit, stating he was unsure if the child was his, despite Lopera giving her daughter both of their last names.
Diggs claimed that he is proven to be the father of Charliee, he wants joint legal and physical custody of her.
Lopera has requested sole custody, while allowing Diggs visitation with his daughter.
Also as part of the court filing, Lopera has requested Diggs cover all of her pregnancy and birth expenses in addition to her attorney’s fees.
Lopera has more than 300,000 followers on Instagram, while Diggs signed a 3-year, $69million contract with the New England Patriots in March, with $26million guaranteed.
Cardi B announced she was pregnant with Diggs’ child on Wednesday during an interview with ‘CBS Mornings’, with her due date coming before her next tour starts in February.
