Corey Feldman reflected on this year’s Oscar’s tribute to late director Rob Reiner saying it feels “a little bit like a family reunion I wasn’t invited to” as he responded to being snubbed from the moment.

“We’re not going to use this time to go into my feeling about that,” Feldman, 54, told Entertainment Weekly in a joint interview with Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton for the film’s 40th anniversary.

Billy Crystal led this a special segment dedicated to Rob and his wife, Michele Singer-Reiner, at the 2026 ceremony earlier this month.

He was joined on stage by several other notable stars who’ve worked with Reiner during their career including Demi Moore and Meg Ryan as well as Feldman’s “Stand By Me” co-stars O’Connell and Wheaton.

“Instead I just want to say that I’m with the rest of us, we’re all very destroyed that things went down the way they did, losing Rob when we all thought he’d be joining us at some point for this tour and it’s a tragedy,” Feldman continued.

“I think Jerry and Wil did what had to be done,” Feldman said, adding that his original feeling “was a fleeting moment.”

“I don’t feel like I missed much at all,” he continued.

“I personally was probably maybe a little bothered by the fact that nobody got to speak or do or say anything from their own heart.”

“Although they did a wonderful job, I would’ve liked to have heard from Wil and Jerry and a few other people up there,” he closed.

Page Six has reached out to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for comment.

Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were both found killed in their Los Angeles home on Dec. 14. He was 78, while she was 70. The couple’s middle child, Nick Reiner was arrested for their murders the following day.

If convicted, he could be facing life in prison without parole or the death penalty. His next court date is scheduled for April 29.
