Funding open for charities, companies limited by guarantee, and community interest companies promoting good relations in Northern Ireland
The Community Relations Council (CRC) has opened applications for its Core Funding Programme 2026–27, supporting voluntary and community sector organisations that promote good relations work across Northern Ireland.
Approximately £1.2 million is available in this funding round to support operational and staffing costs for organisations delivering strategic, long-term community relations outcomes.
Projects must demonstrate a clear commitment to tackling sectarianism, racism, and division, while contributing to wider social goals such as education, health, and environmental sustainability.
Who can apply?
The programme is open to formally constituted community groups and voluntary organisations. Eligible types include
- Charity
- Company Limited by Guarantee
- Community Interest Company
Organisations should
- be based in Northern Ireland
- have a proven track record in good relations work
- deliver outcomes aligned with CRC’s strategic priorities
- operate in key geographic areas or with underrepresented communities
