Funding for charities, companies limited by guarantee, and community interest companies promoting good relations in Northern Ireland.

The application deadline is 4pm on Wednesday 12 November 2025.

Who it is for

The programme is open to formally constituted community groups and voluntary organisations. 

Eligible types include

  • Charity
  • Company Limited by Guarantee
  • Community Interest Company

Organisations should

  • be based in Northern Ireland
  • have a proven track record in good relations work
  • deliver outcomes aligned with the Community Relations Council’s strategic priorities
  • operate in key geographic areas or with underrepresented communities

Support you can get

The Core Funding Programme 2026–27 supports voluntary and community sector organisations that promote good relations work across Northern Ireland.

Approximately £1.2 million is available in this funding round to support operational and staffing costs for organisations delivering strategic, long-term community relations outcomes.

Projects must demonstrate a clear commitment to tackling sectarianism, racism, and division, while contributing to wider social goals such as education, health, and environmental sustainability.
