Conor McGregor has remarkably claimed he is ‘at peace with life’ after publishing a picture of him and his family.

McGregor, 37, posted a picture with his partner Dee Devlin, 38, and their four children, Conor Jr., Croia, Rian and Mack, on Wednesday morning, captioning the post: ‘I have never been so at peace in my life as I am right now.’

But the MMA fighter has also incurred the wrath of fans after brutally beating up his young sparring partners ahead of his potential UFC return.

He was seen throwing heavy punches during sparring sessions in Italy and Spain last weekend.

Footage of the Irishman doing so emerged on social media, after which several social media users pointed out that he appeared to be unnecessarily strong with his punches.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one user wrote: ‘Hmmm. Not a good look for McGregor.’

A second added: ‘Still an embarrassing show. He is such a shell of his former self.’

A third remarked: ‘Bullying young fighters.’

The criticism of McGregor comes after he launched his bid to become the next president of the Republic of Ireland on social media, just days after losing a high-profile civil rape case appeal.

He posted just four days after Ireland’s Court of Appeal dismissed his challenge to a civil ruling that found him liable for sexually assaulting a woman in 2018.

Three judges ruled on July 31 that his appeal failed on all five grounds and upheld the previous decision ordering Conor to pay damages to Nikita Hand.

The civil trial concluded in November 2024, when a jury found McGregor liable for assault and awarded Hand €248,000 in compensation.

She has since launched further legal action following the failed appeal.

In her latest filing, she is suing him and two other people for damages, claiming they were involved in malicious abuse of court processes.

McGregor was primed to make a return to the octagon in June 20924, but withdrew from his scheduled fight against Michael Chandler after breaking his left pinky toe.

However, last month, he took a further step towards making a return as he re-entered the UFC’s drug testing pool.

That saw him submit random samples to drug testers earlier this month, both of which showed as being negative for any banned substances.
