Who it is for
Groups/projects must
- be a community or voluntary organisation (not for personal profit)
- have 90% of beneficiaries in council area
Support you can get
The Community Events Fund is for local small-scale community festivals or events.
Event funding covers
Eligible costs include venue hire, equipment, printing costs, materials, insurance, programme facilitator, toilets, and road closure costs.
- £750 for 1day
- £1,000 for 2 days
- £1,200 for 3 or more days
Christmas tree switch on funding covers
Eligible costs include living Christmas trees, sweets, and selection boxes.
- Population under 1,000 £500
- Population 1,000 – 4,000 £750
- Population over 4,000 £1,000
