The gains appear to be very strong in the land of the ‘woke agenda’ after one Cal transfer showed off his incredible body transformation on social media.
In the offseason, wide receiver Dazmin James transferred from Arkansas to Cal after only just playing eight games for the Razorbacks last season.
The redshirt sophomore swapped Fayetteville for Berkeley in the winter and is competing for a top spot on the depth chart at the ACC school.
James has clearly been putting in the work to improve his physique as a side-by-side image recently shared on social media has fans stunned at the muscle mass he’s put on in just six months.
The wide receiver shared the photo to his Instagram story – showing how ripped he got thanks to Cal’s strength and conditioning coach Jason Novak.
It’s such a stunning transformation that many fans couldn’t believe the images were real.

‘Haters will say its AI,’ read one post on X, formerly Twitter.
‘I keep waiting for community notes to tell me this [is] Centel,’ wrote one user – referring to the popular NBA fake-news meme account ‘NBA Centel’.
Some of the members of the infamous ‘Calgorithim’ celebrated James’ transformation, with one post reading, ‘Going woke does wonders for the body’.
Another said, ‘Come to Cal and get jacked… Get WOKE, Get YOKED Simple as that.’
One joked, ‘The strength and conditioning staff agreed to let our bioengineering department use the team as test subjects for a woke super soldier serum’.
Others simply marveled at how big James bulked up in that short of a time frame.
‘Did the[y] lock that mf in the weight room and hide the key?’ wrote one user.
Another post read, ‘Impressive. If this guy did this naturally then major props to him.’
Last season, James played in eight games but did not make any receptions until he went off for three catches and an astonishing 137 yards and a touchdown in Arkansas’ Liberty Bowl victory over Texas Tech.
