The Cleveland Browns held a moment of silence on Sunday for Charlie Kirk as the slain conservative activist was laid to rest in Arizona.

Kirk was assassinated on September 10 while speaking with students at Utah Valley University.

Afterwards, seven franchises made sure to honor him before their Week 2 matchups, while six declined to do so.

And on Sunday, the Browns performed their own tribute to the late MAGA star as they put a picture of him and his family on the screen before their game.

It was Cleveland’s first home game since Kirk was murdered, as they played in Baltimore last weekend.

The New Dolphins, Titans, Saints, Steelers, Cowboys and Cardinals all halted proceedings before their respective kickoffs last weekend to remember the life of the 31-year-old conservative activist.

However, the Lions, Bengals, Ravens, Colts and Vikings did not pay tribute to him before their games.

The Texans, meanwhile, opted for a broader statement as they held a moment of silence for ‘all victims of violence and natural disaster’ without mentioning Kirk by name.

The team told the Daily Mail in a statement: ‘We held a moment of silence pregame to honor all victims of violence and natural disasters across the country.

‘Unfortunately, there have been a number of recent tragedies, so we did not think it was appropriate to single any of them out and minimize the others that have occurred.’ The Raiders initially did not respond to a request for comment.’

Before the first game after Kirk’s death – the Packers’ win over the Commanders on Thursday, September 11 – the NFL made the decision to honor Kirk.

The following day, the league released a statement that said they would leave tributes to Kirk up to teams moving forward.

Tyler James Robinson, 22, of Washington, Utah, has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated murder and other felony offenses following Kirk’s murder.
