Funding to give special recognition to individuals and/or organisations within the area who will act as effective ambassadors in their chosen activity.

This scheme closes at midday on Friday 6 February 2026.

Who it is for

Individual applicants and organisations must be resident in Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area and be either

  • competing at least at Provincial* level in a one-off competitive event (eg World Championships)
  • representing at least at Provincial* level on an arts-related performance group (eg Ulster Youth Orchestra)
  • demonstrating at application stage that they have participated in a selection or qualifying process which has identified their suitability to represent at the required level

(* Provincial level definition – this means the competition or representation must be at Northern Ireland, Ulster, Ireland, UK, European or World level).

Support you can get

Funding available

  • up to a maximum of £500 per organisation, and £200 per individual

Eligible costs

  • accommodation/travel costs if applying as an organisation, ie two or more people, up to a maximum of £500
  • accommodation/travel costs if applying as an individual, up to a maximum of £200

  • Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council
