Ciara walked the red carpet with her NFL-star husband Russell Wilson on Tuesday night in their first public event since he appeared in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Wilson’s name came up in the latest release of the ‘Epstein Files’ by the Department of Justice last week.

While the inclusion of someone’s name in the files does not imply any suspected crimes, the mere mention of Wilson led the quarterback to posting a denial of any association with Epstein.

‘NOPE!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT! Not TODAY satan!’ Wilson posted while quote-tweeting the part of the files that mentioned his name.

He then went on to explain how and why he showed up in correspondence related to Epstein.

‘Some Random plane broker tried to sell me a plane,’ explained Wilson. ‘I had no idea whose plane and never bought the plane. Never talked nor Never met the man. Thank God!!!’

But the couple looked far from fazed as they posed for pictures on the red carpet at an event in San Francisco ahead of the Super Bowl.

They were attending the third annual NFL Crucial Catch Dinner, an event organized by the American Cancer Society to honor Miami Dolphins running back Alexander Mattison.

Wilson was not the only member of the Giants organization to have their name featured in the latest dump of documents pertaining to Epstein.

Giants part-owner Steve Tisch was found to have correspondence via e-mail with Epstein.

The emails between Tisch, a prominent Hollywood film producer, and Epstein show the pair discussing a number of women and organizing meetings with them, according to The Athletic.

Tisch also offered Epstein tickets to watch a Giants game in his suite and extended invitations to others. Epstein also invited Tisch to come to his private Caribbean island, although it’s unclear if he ever went.

In a statement provided to Daily Mail, Tisch said: ‘We had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women, and in addition, we discussed movies, philanthropy, and investments.

‘I did not take him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone I deeply regret associating with.’
