- Horner, who married Halliwell in 2015, has vehemently denied any wrongdoing
Christian Horner has shared a Mother’s Day message to his wife Geri Halliwell a year on from being cleared of ‘inappropriate, controlling behaviour’ toward a female colleague and an alleged role in a ‘sexting’ scandal.
Horner, who tied the knot with the former Spice Girl in 2015, took to social media to post a throwback photo of his partner and his own mother, Sara, at a glitzy event.
‘Happy Mother’s Day to these two and to all mums out there,’ he wrote on Instagram.
‘Whether they are with you or not, I hope you manage to celebrate you and yours!’
Halliwell stood by her husband after the explosive accusations rocked the Formula One paddock last year. Horner has vehemently denied the claims.
Screenshots of alleged WhatsApp messages between Horner and a Red Bull employee were leaked anonymously the day after a three-week investigation, carried out externally, cleared the 51-year-old of all allegations.

Halliwell stood by her husband after explosive texting allegations rocked the F1 paddock
An independent lawyer interviewed Horner for almost nine hours, it is understood.
The file allegedly containing texts and images was leaked to almost 200 people involved in the sport, including owners Liberty Media, team principals and the media.
Horner was then exonerated for a second time after the female employee appealed against the findings of the investigation, which were upheld.
In an interview with The Times published on Sunday, Halliwell provided an insight into her marriage to Horner, revealing the mutual activities they enjoy as a couple.
‘So these are the fun things we do – we walk the dogs together, we like walking,’ Halliwell said. ‘I bought him a goldendoodle for his birthday.
‘I hid the puppy in a phone box and handed it to him. We’re very much old-school and family-focused. He loves doing barbecues – it’s a real man thing.
‘We’ll find a TV series that we lock into. I’ll try my best not to watch it when he goes away. I waited for him before finishing Severance.
‘We like playing games too. The other day, in the kitchen, we were playing 20 questions – you’ve got to guess what the object is. We’re quite silly.’

The couple first met in 2009 in Monaco and announced their engagement five years later
The couple mixed in social circles before they struck up their romance, having first met each other at the Monaco Grand Prix in 2009.
‘[Geri] was a guest of [former CEO of the Formula One Group] Bernie Ecclestone’s in Monaco one year and came down the pit lane,’ Horner previously told The Telegraph.
‘I remember [McLaren boss] Ron Dennis was standing next to me and Eddie Jordan was there as well. She gave Ron a kiss on the cheek, and she gave Eddie a kiss on the cheek. So I thought, “OK, I’m on for a kiss on the cheek here!”
‘And I went to give her one and she shoved her hand out at me.’
