Cole Palmer was spotted taking a selfie with an NYPD officer as he made an exit from his hotel following Chelsea’s Club World Cup triumph.
Palmer, 23, scored twice and set up another as the Blues strolled to a 3-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The England international was instrumental in the win and later received the Player of the Tournament award – which was handed to him by US President Donald Trump.
Just days prior to that, Palmer was seen on a scooter in Times Square, untroubled by the New York public who, perhaps, were not familiar with his credentials.
However, after his stunning performance in-front of 81,000 fans at the MetLife Stadium, it seems everyone knows about the Chelsea star now.
In a video obtained by DailyMail.com, Palmer was seen stopping and taking a selfie with a police officer in New York on Monday afternoon.

Palmer’s selfie comes just one day after he lead Chelsea to victory in the Club World Cup

Palmer was leaving the Peninsula Hotel on Monday morning as he likely ended his stay in the US – having spent weeks on tour with Chelsea as they battled through the Club World Cup.
Palmer was among the Chelsea stars on stage – on Sunday – who were left somewhat baffled by the presence of President Trump as the squad lifted the trophy.
The US President had been given the honor of presenting the trophy to Blues captain Reece James, with the expectation that he would then step aside, as it customary.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino was seen attempting to usher Trump away from Chelsea players, but the US president remained in place, standing either side of James and Sanchez.
Trump’s refusal to leave the stage left Chelsea players bewildered with Palmer appearing to say, ‘What’s he doing?’.
Speaking post-match, Palmer admitted: ‘I knew he was going to be here but I didn’t know he was going to be on the stand when we lifted the trophy so I was a bit confused, yeah.’
Further light has been shed on Trump’s presence in the trophy presentation, with his interactions with Chelsea captain James and goalkeeper Sanchez having been revealed.
Palmer, meanwhile, was spotted along with his Chelsea teammates returning to their hotel on Sunday night as they celebrated their Club World Cup triumph.

The 23-year-old, still wearing his match shirt and medal was seen clutching his Golden Ball award as he walked towards fans.
Palmer roared in their direction and gestured for them to continue to make noise as his team-mates continued to disembark.
Chelsea players and staff were then treated to a private event to toast their success and celebrate a successful end to a grueling 11-month season.
The season had seen Maresca lead Chelsea to Champions League qualification and Conference League success, before triumphing at the Club World Cup.
