Chelsea climbed up to the fourth position in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon as Enzo Maresca’s side clinched a 1-0 victory over struggling Leicester City in the Premier League.

The Italian has welcomed his former side at Stamford Bridge with an unquestionable win, set by Marc Cucurella’s thunderbolt from outside the box in the 60th minute.

However, initially, the game started in the worst way possible after the Blues’ leader Cole Palmer saw his penalty attempt confidently saved by shot-stopper Mads Hermansen in the middle of the first half.

Maresca left team captain Reece James out of the squad – despite praising his abilities as a defensive midfielder this week – as it is understood that the 23-year-old was under the weather.
