Apple’s original AirPods are now in their fourth iteration, and they’ve come a long way since their 2016 launch. The buds are small, sleek and lightweight, like most Apple products, while also adding active noise cancellation – a feature previously reserved for the Pro and Max models. “They are a big step forward from the entry-level second-generation AirPods they replace, and they’re also better than the third-generation AirPods which used to cost a lot more,” our tech expert David Phelan writes in his review. “These are the best-value AirPods ever.” With an extra £15 at John Lewis at the moment, they’re even more of a steal.
