Omarion Hampton is taking his mind off the Los Angeles Chargers’ playoff exit on a sunny vacation with his girlfriend this week.

Just days after the Wild Card round loss which ended LA’s season, Hampton was seen catching some rays on the beach alongside bikini-clad partner Lilly Heder to get over their 16-3 loss to the New England Patriots.

The couple, who are both 22, posed for a loved-up selfie which Heder shared on her Instagram story, while they both got some individual shots on their romantic getaway.

It is unclear exactly where they are enjoying some downtime, but the selfie appears to be taken on the deck of an oceanfront property.

Hampton and Heder have been together since their school days, with the pair meeting at the University of North Carolina.

The Chargers running back needs to unwind more than most after an injury-plagued rookie season ended with him picking up another problem in Sunday’s defeat to the Patriots.

After struggling with an ankle issue for the majority of the campaign and missing close to three months, he played just two snaps against New England before being taken out of the game by LA’s medical staff.

Hampton, the No. 22 pick in last year’s draft, rushed for 545 yards and four touchdowns on 124 carries in nine regular-season outings, while registering 192 receiving yards and one score on 32 receptions.

However, he ended his rookie season on Sunday full of regrets after being hampered by injury once again.

‘You always want to help your team out when you end up situation, those type of games,’ Hampton told ESPN earlier this week. ‘So I mean, just trying to do everything I can to get back on the field.’

Sunday proved a disastrous evening for the Chargers, with the Patriots bringing constant pressure to stop quarterback Justin Herbert and his offense dead in their tracks drive after drive.

It marks the third playoff loss in three starts for Herbert in his career, who was sacked a shocking six times on the night for a loss of 39 yards.

He only completed 19-of-31 passes for a paltry 159 yards while also rushing ten times for 57 yards.
