Chargers fans fume over ‘Chiefs bias’ ahead of their opening game of NFL season after seeing stadium in Brazil

Chargers fans were left furious on Thursday as they noticed a curious detail about Arena Corinthians – where their game against the Chiefs will be played in Brazil.

The game in Sao Paulo is technically considered a home game for LA, despite it being played thousands of miles away from Southern California.

So Chargers fans were infuriated when they noticed that one of the endzones in the stadium was painted for the Chiefs.

‘Why the F*** do the Chiefs get their own endzone during a Chargers ‘home game’ !?!? Dude WHAT THE F***,’ one wrote one X. ‘First they rob us of a divisional home game & now this???’

‘The chiefs having their own end zone for a Chargers ‘home game’ is absurd,’ another said.

‘Lmao clear chiefs bias,’ a third said. ‘But chiefs fans won’t admit it.’

‘And a fourth added: ‘Incredible stuff @NFLyou never fail to show your [sic] favoritism for the Chiefs this is absolute bulls***.’

As many fans pointed out, the Eagles had both endzones painted in their favor for their ‘home game’ in Brazil last year against the Packers.

Additionally, both Chargers endzones were painted in favor of them for their 2019 ‘home’ matchup against Kansas City in Mexico.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the NFL for comment.

Earlier in the day, Chiefs fans were appalled by the state of their team’s modest practice facility in Brazil.

The Chargers, meanwhile, practiced at the training facility of Brazilian soccer club Corinthians.

Friday’s game will be played at the home of the historic club, though Travis Kelce revealed that his team is staying two hours away from the stadium.

‘I know the stadium’s two hours away from the hotel,’ he said on his ‘New Heights’ podcast. ‘That’ll be a unique experience driving to the game game for two hours, the old college football way that we used to drive… we were dealt a hand and we gotta play it.

‘It is what it is. It’ll be rewarding if we go down there and find a way to win knowing that this is such a unique schedule and unique experience. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to go down to Brazil.’

The NFL will host a record seven international games this season including the Chiefs=Chargers game in Brazil.

There will also be games in Ireland, England (three times), Germany and Spain.
