Cardi B’s boyfriend, the NFL star Stefon Diggs, is being sued by ex-girlfriend Mulan Hernandez for an alleged assault that she says gave her concussion, it can be revealed.

Diggs initially bought a lawsuit against Hernandez, a star from Basketball Wives Orlando, in February for an alleged assault against him back in June 2024.

But court records in Texas show that Hernandez launched a counterclaim against Diggs on April 7 this year, accusing him of being the violent party and saying that he punched her in the back of the head with a closed fist and that she got a concussion from the hit.

She claims, as per US Weekly, that after the alleged incident, Diggs was pressuring her into signing an NDA so that his ‘malicious and egregious act would kept from the NFL and public view’.

Hernandez adds that Diggs allegedly flew his personal assistant to Houston in June to persuade her to sign the NDA. She asked the court to award her between $250,000 to $1m and the case is currently listed as active by the court.

The 31-year-old Diggs went public with rapper Cardi B in May 2025 and she has since announced that she is pregnant with his child.

Back in February, Hernandez launched a furious denial after Diggs launched legal action and accused her of being the aggressor. But it was not known until now that she is countersuing.

She said back then that Diggs was trying to ‘get ahead of the truth’ by accusing her of violence and that he had left her concussed when he hit her from behind.

‘‘On June 7th I was assaulted from behind by Stefon Diggs at our residence an incident that resulted in a concussion,’ she said back in February.

‘This is clearly an attempt to try an get ahead of the truth that is to come,’ she continued. ‘I WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED NOR SILENCED.’

Diggs and the social media star Hernandez started a romantic fling in 2024 but according to the NFL star’s suit, things ended badly.

The relationship seemingly came to a head in June last year when, Diggs alleges, Hernandez, who was allegedly intoxicated, reportedly entered Diggs’ gaming room and began to demonstrate ‘manic behavior’ on June 7.

She allegedly began ‘slamming’ his possessions, including his gaming console, to the ground, damaging the PC and a $130,000 watch before tossing his phone in the toilet.

She reportedly continued to punch Diggs, apparently yelling, ‘I’m not going anywhere’, his suit claimed.

Hernandez allegedly proceeded to tell Diggs, ‘You won’t be playing this year,’ which he interpreted as a threat to his NFL career.

After several failed attempts to contact Diggs, his lawsuit alleges Hernandez attempted to carry out an extortion plot with help of her friend, Brianna Mack, who was present during the altercation at his home.

Jones allegedly sought medical treatment for nausea and possible vomiting in the evening June 7, saying she had slipped on a wet kitchen floor. She received a negative CT scan.

Diggs has been offered the chance to comment on the new reports by Daily Mail, via his representative.

Diggs, meanwhile, signed for the Patriots in late March 2025 and had his best game for his new team on Sunday night, leading them to a dramatic 23-20 win over Buffalo Bills.

He is on a three-year deal with the organization worth up to $69million.
