Any hope of a peaceful reunion between former New England Patriots star Stefon Diggs and rapper Cardi B seemed to get shot down after video emerged of a spat they had on Wednesday.
Over Mother’s Day weekend, the wide receiver was seen kissing the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper – sparking rumors of the two getting back together.
But this week, the two were seen in a tense argument outside a gym and coffee shop in Maryland in a video posted to social media.
The footage, which was published by TMZ, showed Diggs and Cardi in a tense encounter as the rapper gestured at the wideout.
A different angle of the footage appeared to show someone waving a bystander away after they tried approaching the two celebrities.
After the encounter – rumored to last at least ten minutes – went viral, Cardi tried to downplay the situation on her X account.

The two went public with their relationship last June, but ended things in the run-up to Super Bowl LX in February.
In that time, Cardi gave birth to a son with Diggs which will keep the two of them in communication.
However, according to Us Weekly, the two have been in ‘closer contact lately’ after Cardi seems interested in giving Diggs a second chance.
The two were seen all loved up at a Diggs Deep Foundation event for Mother’s Day in Washington, DC on Saturday
One source told the outlet that ‘things are no longer contentious’ between the pair, but that Cardi ‘is not fully committing’ to Diggs just yet.
‘She still has love for Stefon, which makes it difficult to walk away,’ the source told US Weekly.
