The Prada show at Milan Fashion Week saw two of the biggest superstars in sport come together on Thursday afternoon.

WNBA icon Caitlin Clark joined freshly-crowned three-time Olympic gold medalist Eileen Gu as they found themselves side-by-side on the front row for the fashion extravaganza.

Fresh off her triumph at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Gu rubbed shoulders with the basketball star, who has enjoyed her fair share of viral fame over the past two years since being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

The freestyle skier documented their outing, sharing a selfie of the pair to her Instagram story. Gu pouted at the camera, while a more-reserved Clark gave a demure smile.

As two high-profile female athletes, neither Gu, 22, nor Clark, 24, is a stranger to the spotlight and they appeared to be more than happy to share it with one another in the Italian fashion capital.

While waiting for the models to take to the runway, the pair bonded, chatting and laughing away, according to TMZ.

The WNBA superstar and the freestyle skier attended the Prada show on Thursday

The hoops star, who had her 2025 WNBA season derailed by a groin injury, looked effortlessly stylish in beige tailored khakis, a striped polo in similar tones and grey coat draped over her shoulders.

She topped off the look with dark brown shoes and a pair of cat-eye sunglasses in a chestnut color.

Meanwhile, Gu, who won a gold medal and a pair of silvers at the 2026 Winter Olympics, looked sharp in an elegantly tailored, charcoal-grey skirt suit with a double-breasted jacket.

She complemented the look with slate-grey knee-high socks, burgundy court shoes and thick-rimmed round sunglasses.

Thursday’s Prada show was just the latest stop in Gu’s hectic schedule. The Olympic poster girl attended her first event of Fashion Week on Wednesday, when she strutted into the Brunello Cucinelli show.

Gu looked ethereal in an ivory, floor-length silk shift dress with a halter neckline and backless detail that accentuated her athletic frame.

She paired the gown with a cropped moto leather jacket, fusing a daring edge to the chic look.

Gu was warmly welcomed to the show as a guest of honor, with Brunello Cucinelli, the designer of the luxury Italian fashion brand, personally heralding her arrival.

The designer posed with the Team China athlete, holding her arm in the air in a gesture that seemingly recognized her recent triumphs.

Gu, the most-decorated female Olympic freestyle skier, had shared following her final event that, with the success of the Games now behind her, she would be dedicating her attention to her ‘other job.’

‘It’s Fashion Week in Milan,’ Gu said, via AFP. ‘I have the other job, the other fashion thing.

‘I’m really excited to just explore some other avenues, be creative, and explore my femininity through fashion, which is something I’ve always loved, and to kind of put that in juxtaposition with skiing and with sports.

‘And I think they co-exist so beautifully and so I hope to represent that next week in Milan.’

While Gu has established herself as a force on the slopes, she has also emerged as a fashion darling.

In addition to being a decorated Olympian and a student at Stanford University, Gu is also an IMG-signed model, having graced the covers of the Chinese editions of Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Cosmopolitan, GQ and Vogue.

She has also been featured in campaigns for Fendi, Gucci, Tiffany & Co. and Louis Vuitton, and is a founding member of the VS collective.

Meanwhile, Clark has strong ties to Prada, having dressed head-to-toe in the luxury Italian designer for the 2024 WNBA Draft.
