A Shrewsbury park and ride bus
Over the Christmas and New Year period some local bus services will be operating on a revised timetable. A summary of the changes can be seen below.
Customers are advised to check with their operator to confirm arrangements before travelling.
Shrewsbury Park & Ride
- From Monday 23 December 2024 to Saturday 4 January 2025 Shrewsbury Park & Ride will operate a Saturday timetable. This means the first bus will leave each park and ride site at 8am, with the last bus returning to its respective site at 6.30pm.
- The service will be closed on Wednesday 25 December 2024, Thursday 26 December 2024 and Wednesday 1 January 2025.
- There is no service on Sundays.
Normal service will resume from Monday 6 January 2025.

Connect On-Demand – Shropshire Council’s flexible bus service
From Monday 23 December 2024 to Saturday 4 January 2025 Connect On-Demand will operate as normal, apart from the following dates;
- The service will be closed on Wednesday 25 December 2024, Thursday 26 December 2024 and Wednesday 1 January 2025.
- On Saturday 28 December 2024 the service will operate between 9.30am and 4.30pm only.
- The Customer Booking Line (0345 678 9013) will close at 2pm on Christmas Eve (Tuesday 24 December) and will not reopen until 10am on Thursday 2 January 2025. Please ensure all bookings are made by this time. The app will still be available to take bookings during this period.
There is no service on Sundays.
We advise customers wishing to use the Connect On-Demand service between Christmas and New Year to book in advance.

Ludlow Park & Ride (722)
The Ludlow Park & Ride will operate as normal over the festive period.
The service will be closed on Wednesday 25 December 2024, Thursday 26 December 2024 and Wednesday 1 January 2025.
