Can City go top?
Six days. Just six days.
That is the amount of time that Manchester City have spent at the top of the Premier League this season. Less than a week. That’s it.
Arsenal have been pretty much leading the way ever since Liverpool fell apart early doors, with City falling as far as nine points behind the leaders as recently as this month.
But tonight, City have the chance to go top again.
They face a Burnley side who are already doomed for the drop, and if they win by two goals or more, Pep Guardiola’s side will leapfrog the Gunners to the summit with just five games to go.
On paper, it looks like City will just batter Burnley and move on to the next one. I mean, they have been running rampant in the league of late.
However, this is the Premier League title race… you just never know when a twist is going to come along. Maybe it will be tonight?
