Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke will attend the premiere of a controversial documentary about her late father despite her brother’s ongoing lawsuit against the producer over the work.
The film, ‘Video Killed The Radio Star: The Untold Story Of The Hulk Hogan Sex Tape Scandal,’ is produced by Bubba The Love Sponge (real name: Todd Clemm), a Tampa-area radio personality and long-time friend of the wrestling legend.
Hogan’s son Nick has sued Clemm over the documentary, saying it would violate a settlement agreement between Hulk Hogan and Bubba from 2012, following the release of a sex tape involving the wrestler and the radio host’s then-wife.
The incident turned into a major lawsuit against the website Gawker, which published the sex tape, and led to the end of Clemm and Hogan’s friendship, according to Brooke.
‘The truth is, neither my dad OR Bubba wanted this tape to get out — it was stolen — and that’s what the documentary is about,’ Brooke said, as quoted by TMZ. ‘If anything, it vindicates my dad and shows what a crime this was, and how jacked up the system is that allowed the people that stole it to walk free… What’s sad is that it broke their friendship apart because certain parties wanted to maintain certain public images.’
Hogan died last month after suffering a heart attack.

Nick Hogan (real name: Nick Bollea) is trying to prevent the release of the film, although a judge has ruled that Clemm is allow to publish it provided he remove images from the sex tape for the time being.
Meanwhile, Hogan ‘s devastated widow is considering a medical malpractice lawsuit following his death, Daily Mail revealed last month.
Sky Daily disclosed in an exclusive interview that the main focus of any possible legal action is Hulk’s neck surgery months before he died, which she believes could have contributed to the tragedy.
She said Hogan’s phrenic nerve was ‘compromised ‘ during the operation in May, leaving him short of breath in the months up to his heart stopping at his $8million waterfront home in Clearwater Beach, Florida .
The nerve controls the ability to breathe, and Sky, 46, told Daily Mail: ‘We are investigating for possible malpractice. If you have shortness of breath for a long time, that makes you very sick.
‘It’s not something that’s an alarming (sudden) cause of death. It’s something that wears on you, makes you weak.’
Asked if that could have contributed to his July 24 death, she replied: ‘Definitely.’
