In the run-up to the AFC Divisional round, a picture of Hailee Steinfeld wearing a Denver Broncos jacket went viral.

Steinfeld, who recently married to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, snapped a flick of her ‘dabbing’ after Denver won Super Bowl 50.

‘HELL YEAH BRONCOS,’ Steinfeld posted from the stands at the game in 2016.

Naturally, with the Bills and Broncos meeting in the playoffs, there was plenty of stick thrown Allen’s way on social media – and in the stands at Mile High – mocking him for his wife’s past choice in affiliation.

Denver showed a fan’s poster of the photo on the jumbotron in an attempt to troll Allen before the game began.

The popularity of the image drew comment from her now-husband after it had its moment in the sun.

CBS Sports reporter Tracy Wolfson posted, ‘Asked Josh about this pic and he told me he had no idea it was floating around.’

She added that Allen ‘laughed and said she was probably paid to be there’ and that ‘he definitely wasn’t going to bring it up at home.’

In the end, it’s the Broncos who got the last laugh as they walked it off in overtime 33-30 by beating the Bills.

Allen came out swinging to start the fourth quarter – driving from the Bills’ own 15-yard-line in nine plays before perfectly placing a pass in the hands of tight end Dalton Kincaid to take a 24-23 lead.

Denver immediately responded by going three-and-out. A Buffalo field goal with just over four-minutes left put them up 27-23.

In need of a touchdown, the Broncos killed the clock and methodically marched toward their own end zone. Denver QB Bo Nix lofted up a pass for wideout Marvin Mims – who caught it in stride to go up 30-27 with 55 seconds remaining.

Allen finally found his precision, moving efficiently down the field to set up a game-tying field goal to set up overtime.

Denver received the kickoff first, but the offense faltered like they had for most of the fourth quarter and the Broncos punted – pinning the Bills back inside their own 7-yard-line.

The page flipped to Allen, who had never won an overtime game throughout his entire NFL career – regular season or playoffs.

But he got greedy. A deep pass intended for Brandon Cooks turned into a fight for the ball that was won by Denver’s Ja’Quan McMillian.

All the Broncos needed was a single score to win the game. They got down the field thanks to two questionable pass interference calls that gifted Denver a combined 47 yards to set up a chip-shot 24-yard field goal to clinch the win.

This marks Buffalo’s seventh-straight postseason trip without an appearance in the Super Bowl.
