Title race heats up

10 more games. 10 more finals.

The title race has been bubbling away these last few weeks, and the fire under it is being cranked up to another level tonight.

Premier League leaders Arsenal travel to Brighton looking to keep hold of their five-point gap to chasing Manchester City, who host relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest.

By the end of the night, the gap could be any number of points. Two, three, five, seven, or even eight.

It really is a monumental night in terms of the tussle to take Liverpool’s crown (which has already well and truly fallen off, as we know).

Elsewhere, there are some huge matches in the top four race and the battle for survival.

Aston Villa host Chelsea, with the gap between them in fourth and sixth just six points, while Fulham take on a West Ham side desperate to scramble out of the relegation zone.

They call it midweek madness for a reason, and this is why.

Let’s get this show on the road.
