Brighton have completed the signing of winger Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm despite rival offers from Chelsea and Newcastle United.
The £21.3million fee is a record sale for the Swedish top flight.
The 18-year-old Nigerian has signed a five-year contract at the club until June 2031 and is due to fly over for a medical.
The deal will be completed when the transfer window reopens.
Head coach Fabian Hurzeler said: ‘I’m looking forward to working with Zadok. Having seen his games and his attributes, he is a player that can impact games in the final third.

Brighton opened talks with AIK last weekend before Newcastle and Chelsea proposed offers around £21m but Yohanna sees a first team pathway with the south coast club.
