UK-registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £200,000 to develop AI and ML-driven proof of concepts for the construction and transport sectors.
This competition is open to single applicants.
To lead a project your organisation must be either a UK-registered small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) or research organisation.
Your project must
- have a grant funding request between £25,000 and £50,000
- carry out its project work in the UK
- intend to exploit the results from or in the UK
- start by 1 September 2025
- end by 28 February 2026
This competition aims to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) driven proof of concepts that address a business challenge or opportunity within one of the following challenge holder organisations
- The Bicycle Association (the national trade association for the UK cycle industry)
- United Living (a leading infrastructure, construction, and property services company)
- Sustrans (the charity making it easier for everyone to walk, wheel and cycle)
- Lichfields (planning and development consultancy)
