Becky Lynch has returned to the WWE as Lyra Valkyria’s mystery partner during the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
Lynch had been off WWE television for around 10 months, with no explanation being given on screen for why she was out, with her contract expiring in real life last June.
It had been rumored Lynch signed a lucrative new deal with the promotion earlier this year, with no proof until WrestleMania.
A spot opened up for Lynch in the match due to a storyline injury to Bayley, who won a gauntlet match with Valkyria recently to earn the title opportunity.
Lynch’s last appeared in the WWE last May in a steel-cage match against Morgan.
Lynch was already known to be in Las Vegas as her real-life husband, Seth Rollins, is one of the company’s biggest stars.

Rollins was victorious in the Saturday WrestleMania main event over CM Punk and Roman Reigns, aligning with Paul Heyman in the process.
Lynch and Valkyria won the match, with ‘The Man’ earning the victory for her team by tapping out Morgan.
Lynch is considered one of the most influential female wrestlers of all time, with her moniker of ‘The Man’ coming as she rose to rock-star popularity in 2019.
The seven-time women’s champion is the only female wrestler to lead the company in merchandise sales, having done so in 2019.
Lynch, longtime rival Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey became the first women to main event a WrestleMania, doing so the last time the extravaganza was only one night.
