Tiger Woods has made an emotional return to competitive golf following the death of his mother Kultida earlier this month.
Woods walked out for Tuesday’s TGL event in Florida with son Charlie by his side, just two weeks on from Kultida’s passing at the age of 80.
Before the match got underway, the golf legend admitted it hit home returning to TGL – which was the last competition his mom saw him play in on January 27 before her death.
‘This was the last time she watched me play, so a bit emotional coming here tonight,’ he said in an interview on ESPN.
