The Tennessee Titans have signed veteran quarterback Tim Boyle, adding to its quarterback room already with incumbent Will Levis and Brandon Allen.
The move to sign Boyle does not give an indication as to what the Titans will do with the No 1 overall selection in next month’s NFL Draft.
Tennessee has been linked with taking quarterback Cam Ward or two-way star Travis Hunter first overall.
Should the Titans stick with the three quarterbacks currently on the roster alone, which is unlikely, the move signals that Hunter is their choice to come off the board first.
Boyle has been a journeyman quarterback since he entered the NFL in 2018. He had multiple-season stays with the Packers and Lions before truly bouncing around teams.
Stints with the Bears, Jets, Texans, Dolphins, Giants, and now Titans have all now occurred since the start of the 2022 season.

The Titans have been linked with a quarterback, and not staying with Levis, with the No 1 pick
Any NFL executive would say a team cannot win a Super Bowl without a great quarterback.
Unless the Titans’ management has changed their view of Levis, the team’s starting quarterback for 2025 is not currently on the roster.
Boyle will have to compete for a roster spot with Allen heading into training camp, as he has never been a full-time starter in his NFL career.
Boyle’s biggest rise to prominence came in 2023, after Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles in his first game with the Jets, he replaced embattled Zack Wilson as New York’s starter.
The Jets have since moved on from all three quarterbacks.
